Lime Monogram Round

I love these monogram rounds, they are easy to stitch up and can be self finished in any of the Lee Leather Goods that have an opening of 3” in diameter. There are so many possibilities: Silk Bag, Cosmetic Bag, ID Luggage Tag, Gift Box, Snap Tray, and more! I think I may go with the ID Luggage Tag for this piece, although I will use it on my carry on. Don’t want to chance losing it with checked luggage!

Lime Monogram Round by Two Sisters Needlepoint

This particular round is by Two Sisters Needlepoint. I chose lime green and pink as my colors, have the Lily vibe going on lately. Must have something to do with my impending move to Florida. I am using Vineyard Silk for most of the piece and then Silk Lame Braid for the pink. I am not sure why the blue was painted in there, so I am just covering it up.

I got my monogram canvas from Annie & Company in NYC and was lucky enough to have Annie Goodman, the owner, paint my monogram for me! You can order this from any needlework shop or go to Annie’s as I know they carry them.

So far I have stitched basketweave in the center diamond, and I did do some basketweave on one initial but I think I am going to rip it out and do a satin stitch. I also decided that I am going to stitch some Rhodes in the white polka dots to have some added texture. Of course, all of this is subject to change because I feels like doing some beading!
